Under the direction of the COA Director, this position's primary responsibilities include providing information and referrals for support services to our seniors and/or their families; visit, assist, and advocate for our seniors to assess needs and make appropriate referrals to outside agencies; facilitate access to needed services that contribute to independent living; assist with transportation options; other responsibilities as assigned and required to meet the needs of our seniors.
Applicants should be a flexible team player that possesses a strong commitment to public service and a desire to meet and serve the senior population as well as the community as a whole; the ability to effectively re-prioritize tasks as needed, to work independently, and to problem solve; to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing; and have solid organizational and computer skills.
Benefitted position; rate is $22/hour.
